The Robert E. Brauer Innovation in Bankruptcy Law Award was established in 2005 to recognize ideas and practices that promote the highest standards of excellence in the bankruptcy profession, to encourage creative solutions to bankruptcy problems and to foster the development and advancement of bankruptcy practice in the Eastern District of Missouri. This award honors the service, leadership and intellectual achievements of Judge Robert E. Brauer during his distinguished legal career.

The 2008 award will be handed out on May 16, 2008 at the Bankruptcy Practice Memorial Fund 2008 Seminar.
