Our Mission is

• to educate the public and legal community in the area of bankruptcy law and promote legal research and study in this field;
  
  
• to develop and operate pro bono programs to provide open access to the legal system in bankruptcy;
  
  
• to preserve and exhibit books, documents, objects of art and other items of historical interest to the bankruptcy community;
  
  
• to study, improve, and facilitate the administration of justice and the practice of law in bankruptcy; and
  
  
• to grant scholarships and awards of merit in the field of bankruptcy law in the Eastern District of Missouri
